Sprinter/Shuttle Bus Driver – Part-Time
Mason Security Protective Services LLC Location: Miami, FL
Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: Minimum 4 hours per day, generally between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM
About the Role
Mason Security Protective Services LLC is seeking
dependable and professional Sprinter/Shuttle Bus Drivers to provide safe, courteous, and reliable transportation services.
We are hiring
both CDL and non-CDL drivers , depending on the vehicle assigned and the transportation requirements of the position.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced drivers who take pride in
safe driving, punctuality, professionalism, and providing a positive experience for passengers .
Transportation schedules are based on school operations, so daily start and end times may vary. Drivers will generally be scheduled
Monday through Friday, with a minimum of four hours per day .
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned shuttle buses or passenger vehicles safely and efficiently according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Transport passengers to designated locations while maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure the vehicle remains clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting when necessary.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, DOT requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain required trip logs, mileage records, inspection documentation, and incident reports.
- Report accidents, vehicle concerns, delays, or other issues promptly to management.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, school personnel, dispatchers, and supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing Mason Security.
- Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned.
Driver Requirements
CDL Drivers - Valid CDL Class B or higher — Required for applicable CDL positions
- Passenger (P) Endorsement — Required for applicable CDL positions
- Acceptable driving record with no major violations.
- Previous passenger transportation, shuttle, school bus, or charter bus experience preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements.
Non-CDL Drivers
- Valid Florida driver's license — Required
- Clean or acceptable driving record with no major violations.
- Previous passenger transportation, shuttle, school transportation, or similar driving experience preferred.
- Must meet all applicable company and vehicle-specific driver requirements.
All Drivers
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Ability to pass a background check and required drug screening, as applicable.
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday according to school transportation needs.
- Ability to safely operate the vehicle assigned to the position.
Schedule
Part-Time | Monday–Friday
- Minimum of 4 hours per day
- Typical operating hours generally fall between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM
- Actual start and end times may vary based on school schedules and transportation requirements.
- Additional hours may be available based on operational needs.
Candidates should be comfortable with a weekday schedule where hours may change based on the needs of the school and transportation program.
