Job Description

A healthcare firm in Manhattan seeks a temporary HR Assistant to join the team. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume onboarding environment and have 2+ years of recruitment or HR-related experience. This role is a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Hybrid - 3 days in office (Tues - Thurs), 2 days remote (Mon, Fri)

Pay: $30-34/hr.

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Draft and deliver timely and professional communications to candidates regarding recruitment processes.
• Schedule interviews, manage logistics, and coordinate feedback collection from interview panelists.
• Monitor candidate onboarding progress, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records in Workday and other ATS platforms, supporting data integrity.
• Assist in organizing recruitment events, including scheduling and logistics management.
• Collaborate with HR and TA teams to optimize recruitment workflows and processes.
• Provide candidates with guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements during recruitment activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or HR-related roles.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Workday.
• Strong skills in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage candidates effectively.
• Ability to manage high-volume recruitment and onboarding activities efficiently.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with recruitment policies.
